Liebherr-Aerospace wins volume-production orders for the Tiger

During the Paris Air Show Friedrich Dörhöfer, chairman of the Eurocopter Deutschland GmbH board of management, signed two contracts with Liebherr-Aerospace: a volume-production order to manufacture the Tigers’ cockpit air conditioning systems and an order to produce the European combat helicopter’s flight control system. In coming years 160 systems for each of these two areas are to be produced at the Lindenberg and Toulouse production locations and delivered to Eurocopter locations in Donauwörth, Germany, and Marignane, France. The French and German armies have ordered 80 Tiger combat helicopters each. |
