LIKUFIX quick change system for hydraulic excavators receives award at the ‘BAUMA’
On March 30th at the 2004 ‘Bauma’ trade fair, Liebherr received the "Euro Test Prize 2004 for outstanding achievement" from the German civil engineering industrial accident organisation for its LIKUFIX system, which permits extremely easy, rapid interchanging of working attachments on hydraulic excavators and includes an automatic hydraulic coupling.
The organisation’s accolade states that "… with its LIKUFIX, Liebherr has developed a hydraulic quick-change system that not only includes an automatic hydraulic coupling system but can also automatically identify the chosen attachment or tool. This enables the machine operator to make the changeover safely and within a very short time, without having to leave the driving position."
