Liebherr exhibited a stereo loader for the first time at the 1995 ‘Bauma’, and in doing so established a milestone with this new wheel-loader steering concept. Nine years after this important development, Liebherr is presenting a new stereo loader generation to the world at the 2004 ‘Bauma’.
The completely redesigned programme includes five models with the following identifiers: L 506Stereo, L 507Stereo, and L 508Stereo, L 509Stereo und L 510Stereo. The power outputs of the new models lie between 42 kW (58 hp) and 58 kW (79 hp), enabling them to move maximum loads up to a tip-ping limit between 3,234 and 4,580 kg. The new Liebherr ste-reo loaders retain the proven features that have helped to make this range so successful, including the unique ‘stereo’ combination of centre pivot and rear-wheel steering and the interaction of oscillating frame articulation and centre-pivot axle. Three of the new stereo loaders are displayed on the ‘Bauma’ stand.
