Liebherr is to present its new Mobilmix 3.33 batching plant to the public for the first time at Bauma 2007. Manufactured using a container construction method, this batching plant is designed first and foremost for mobile operations on large construction sites. The integrated twin-shaft mixer was developed specially for this type of plant and offers a nominal volume of 3.33 m³. Typical fields of operation are airport, bridge, tunnel and motorway construction plants.
When filling dump trucks, the plant has an output of approx. 150 m³ of set concrete per hour. The new Mobilmix 3.33 was deliberately designed so that it can also function perfectly as a twin plant if required. In this case, both mixing systems are easily controlled from a control seat, with the mixing systems working in alternate cycles. When filling dump trucks, the discharge output can thus be increased to approx. 300 m³ per hour.
