Largest tower crane at the ‘Bauma’ sold on the third day
The largest crane on display at the 2004 ‘Bauma’, the Liebherr 630 EC-H 40 Litronic top-slewing crane, was sold to Nagel-Baumaschinen GmbH of Ulm, Germany on the third day of the trade fair.
This flagship among the tower cranes on display in Munich is also the largest model in Liebherr’s successful EC-H series. At a hook height of about 80 metres and the same working radius, the crane can lift no less than 5,800 kilograms at the jib end; its maximum load capacity is 40,000 kg.
