World premiere at the Bauma: the MK 100 mobile construction crane

The MK 100 is mounted on a new five-axle chassis and has a 52 m long jib. Like its extremely successful smaller brother, the MK 80, it has been designed for one-person erecting at the press of a button. The erecting process takes place fully automatically. The MK 100 has a torsionally rigid, telescoping solid-wall tower and has a four-part, telescoping jib of lattice construction, the first time that this principle has been used on a mobile construction crane. With the lifting, trolley travel and slewing gear drives supplied from a frequency converter, the MK 100 can position its loads with absolute precision. |
