Bauma 2007: New easy-to-use and easy-to-assemble fast-erecting crane

The new 26 K.1 fast-erecting crane, which is being presented to the public for the first time at Bauma 2007, is an extension to the lower end of the successful K crane series. With their excellent flexibility and quick usability, the K cranes have long proved themselves on the market under the most diverse operations requirements. The series now comprises the six crane types 26 K.1, 34 K, 42 K.1, 56 K, 71 K and 120 K.1.

In developing the new 26 K.1, particular attention was paid to ease of use and assembly. It combines the advantages of a hydraulic fold-away jib with those of a telescopic lattice tower that enables various hook heights. The crane features a maximum load capacity of 2,500 kg and, even at a radius of 26 m, can lift 1,000 kg at the jib end.

The 40° super-raised working angle on the 26 K.1 sets new standards: a maximum hook height of 37 m was previously unknown in this crane class. The jib is steplessly adjusted from 0° – 20° and 20° – 40° by means of a hydraulic guying system. Even operations on very steep roofs pose no problem.
