Liebherr delivers 50 standard mobile cranes to the French Army.
Within the frame of an important order, Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH currently delivers standard mobile cranes type LTM 1055/1 AF to the French Army.
With this important order of 40 million EUR by the procurement office of the French Ministry of Defence, Liebherr stood up against strong competition. The contract provides for a delivery of 50 standard mobile cranes LTM 1055/1 AF of 55 t maximum load capacity until 2005.
The mobile cranes to be delivered are standard machines which will be provided with special equipment for military application. The French Army will employ these cranes for the repair of vehicles and for the handling of heavy loads.
