Liebherr will be unveiling its newly developed LR 1300 crawler crane at Bauma 2007. With a maximum load capacity of 300 t (330 US t), this crane closes the gap in the Liebherr crawler crane product range between the LR 1280 and the LR 1350/1 models. The new LR 1300 offers outstanding mobility for a machine of its load capacity class, making it suitable even as a ‘taxi crane’ for short-term construction-site operations.
The LR 1300 is powered by a 450-kW / 612-hp Liebherr diesel engine and two crane winches, each with a pulling force of 15 t for high rope speeds. As a result, multiple reeving enables rapid hoists and a high lifting performance. 15-t free-fall winches with multi-disc brakes are available as optional equipment.
The LR 1300 hydraulics are based on innovations designed to improve operating comfort and reduce maintenance that have already been incorporated into the smaller Liebherr crawler crane series.
