Bauma 2007: Largest duty-cycle crawler crane for toughest operations
Click: View enlarged picture
At Bauma 2007, Liebherr is to present its flagship HS 895 HD duty-cycle crawler crane in a variant designed for the toughest operations. This entirely new version enables efficient, high-power dragline operations even on the hardest of terrains. Developed to meet specific customer demands, this model variant is to be offered as an alternative to the standard HS 895 HD version.

For its size, the new special HS 895 HD Litronic model is an extraordinarily powerful machine, driven by a 670-kW / 912-hp 12-cylinder diesel engine. With a pulling force of 45 t, the scraping winch offers the user maximum performance even in the toughest construction site operations.

Other features include a more robust steel superstructure, a stronger fairlead design and a modified boom foot. These design alterations form the basis for the machine's extreme dynamism in hard dragline operations. For the user this means not only greater performance but also reduced wear and, by extension, a longer operating life for the machine.
