Machine and systems operators are responsible for many different tasks relating to the operation of today’s machinery and systems used in series production. Their area of responsibility includes setting up and/or programming as well as operating machinery and systems.
Machine and systems operators control and monitor the material flow and ensure the smooth progression of the production process by means of ongoing consultation with upstream and downstream departments. They also carry out inspection and maintenance tasks at regular intervals and remedy any faults that occur with respect to the production systems.
During the entire production process, they undertake ongoing quality assurance measures and document production data. |
