The area of responsibility for the construction machinery mechanics includes the carrying out of repairs within the workshop, and where after-sales-service tasks are concerned, also outside of the workshop. Their duties include the servicing of machines, carried out as individuals or as part of a team at the jobsite, or visiting the customer. Additionally, they will perform diagnoses, repairs, and adjustments, as well as ensuring the flawless functioning of the control. They must also be familiar with software-controlled tools which may be required within his area of responsibility, and have a good command of several foreign languages. |

Certificate in the operation and maintenance of earthmoving equipment
