Our professional training in France
A qualified structural mechanic obtains all information concerning the manufacture of worpieces and various production stages from plans and documents. He sets the machine, prepares the material and selects the correct tools, as well as assembling all individual components in accordance with welding technology, but primarily new components. It is possible however, that he will be required to carry out repairs and modifications. As qualified personnel, structural mechanics are responsible for the quality of their work results, which are in turn checked by an automatic control system, as well as the relationship with customers and internal suppliers. They are thus in a position to make individual decisions and to read or interpret plans. Furthermore, their work may also involve the control of welding robots, their duties are varied and eventful, and they enjoy working as part of a team. The work is carried out with utmost precision, and the structural mechanic is responsibly-minded and is familiar with the physical properties of the materials with which he is working.
