Liebherr at IFAT 2024 in Munich

Liebherr will be present at IFAT 2024, the world's leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management, which will take place in Munich from 13 to 17 May 2024, with a stand measuring around 280 m². In Hall C5, Stand 151/250, Liebherr will be exhibiting machines specially designed for use in waste management and recycling. The new LH 40 M Port Elektro electric material handling machine will be celebrating its trade fair premiere in Germany, as well as the new GMM 35-5 multi-tine grapple. With the L 507 E and the L 566 XPower, Liebherr will be showing two representatives from its wheel loader portfolio. The Liebherr T 60-9s, T 41-7s and T 33-10s telescopic handlers will also be part of the exhibition appearance. In the area of digitalisation, Liebherr will be showing the LiXplore® camera monitor system. Find out more

60 years of enthusiasm for heavy loads: Bracht takes delivery of Liebherr LTM 1030-2.1 mobile crane

Franz Bracht Kran-Vermietung GmbH is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. The company has grown from a sole proprietorship into a group of companies with 16 locations under the motto "Lust auf Last" (translated: "Enthusiasm for heavy loads"). In April, Bracht took delivery of a Liebherr LTM 1030-2.1 adorned with the company's anniversary logo. Including the new crane, the Group currently operates 15 machines of this type. Find out more

The World’s Biggest Beach Race: Boulard TP banks on Liebherr Crawler Dozers

Once again, this year France was home to the biggest motorcycle beach race in the world - Enduropale du Touquet Pas-de-Calais. The event has been drawing motorsport enthusiasts together, from all over the world, for over 30 years, and it stands out as a challenge of endurance under extreme conditions. No less of a challenge is creating and maintaining the track; a task the BOULARD TP company (Beaurainville Pas-de-Calais) excels at. The long arm of Garzweiler: Liebherr RT crane at RWE

The gigantic Garzweiler open-cast coal mine (RWE Power AG) is the new "habitat" of the new, powerful Liebherr LRT 1130-2.1 rough terrain crane owned by crane hire company Wasel. Together with the smaller LRT 1100-2.1, it is used daily for repair and maintenance work on conveyor systems and large open-cast mining equipment. Tight location, tight schedule: Thömen performs bridge dismantling work in Hamburg

The two railway overpasses “Ferdinandstor” and “An der Alster” are currently the scene of a major construction site directly on the Alster river in the Hanseatic city of Hamburg. Crane service provider Thömen is on site with an LTM 1350-6.1 and an LTM 1650-8.1, among others, to replace the two bridges under challenging conditions. The work has been meticulously planned to ensure that the railway lines can continue to operate as smoothly as possible while the construction work is being carried out. The flyovers connect the nearby main railway station with Hamburg-Altona via five major railway lines. Find out more
