New significant orders

This year, Liebherr in China received two major orders from CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co., Ltd. to provide air-conditioning systems for railway projects in the Middle East.

Liebherr-Transportation Systems (China) Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Liebherr Zhongche Transportation Systems Co., Ltd. have been working diligently on their HVAC systems to master severe weather and environmental conditions, such as high temperatures as well as sand and dust impacts from potential sandstorms.

Evidently, hard work pays off as Liebherr-Transportation Systems (China) has received an order from CRRC for the delivery of HVAC units for installation in a Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) train to be operated in the United Arab Emirates by Etihad Rail, whereas Zhejiang Liebherr Zhongche Transportation Systems has received an order from CRRC to deliver HVAC units for the newly established Ramadan Railway Line in Cairo (Egypt).
