Liebherr telescopicmobilecranes
LTM mobile cranes: All-terrain cranes which set standards.
LTM® mobile cranes are ideal for travelling on public roads and for off-road use due to their all-terrain chassis. They feature safety, economy and comfort.
The powerful, long telescopic booms can reach great working heights quickly and easily. Flexibility is the highest priority for the equipment – the right crane for every job can be configured quickly using functional lattice extensions, folding jibs, fixed and luffing lattice jibs.
With a range of around 25 LTM® cranes, from a small two-axle to the large 9-axle model, we have the right crane to suit every requirement. We continue to work on developing our cranes all the time – VarioBase®, VarioBallast®, the LICCON crane control system and telematics are just some of the innovations from Ehingen – the location of the most modern crane production plant in the world.
With all our technological advances, we always try to ensure that the latest technologies can also be supplied for existing cranes and retrofitted.
Easy ballasting – a small adjustment with a massive effect
VarioBallast®
On some LTM models, the ballast radius can be changed quickly and easily using a simple adjustment – either mechanically or hydraulically, depending on the crane type. With the mechanical adjustment, it is quick and easy to switch between two different ballast radii. The hydraulic adjustment of the ballast radius is infinitely variable, making it suitable for an even wider range of uses. The small radius is very useful in constricted working environments. The mobile cranes achieve maximum lifting capacities with the large radius. This delivers flexibility which also quickly pays dividends during transport to the site.
Sensible extension
The right jib for every job
All LTM mobile cranes have a powerful telescopic boom. This can be extended to different lengths as required. A wide range of jibs is available, such as a fixed jib, a mechanical folding jib, a double folding jib or a luffing jib – which significantly increases flexibility during use.
Smart
LICCON smart crane control system
We develop the software and hardware for the control system in-house. The heart of the system is the LICCON (Liebherr Computed Control) computer system. This forward-thinking control architecture enables it to adapt to the continually growing needs of the market. Liebherr specialists continuously work on developing the system.
Keep an eye on everything all the time
Telescoping crane cabin
We can supply a telescoping crane cabin for selected models in the LTM series. This enhances safety significantly, even during hoisting work. It provides the crane operator with a great view of the load and the area around the crane during hoisting work.
Our model designations:
Using the LTM 1150-5.3 as an example:
= Product series
= Lifting capacity in tonnes
= Number of axles
= Crane version
Modern technologies increase flexibility
Modern VarioBase® and VarioBallast® technologies significantly increase flexibility, particularly in constricted site conditions.
We generally buy most of our new cranes with remote controls these days. It enables the crane operator to get out of the cab and get a much better view of the hoisting or installation process. It also benefits our customers as they do not have to provide as many personnel.

Safe and straightforward
The new 450-tonne crane is not only very user-friendly for crane operators, moving around the machine is also safe and very straightforward due to its platforms, steps and railings. The thing is really good.
Denis Hedl, Crane Operator, Scholpp Kran & Transport GmbH, Stuttgart
Reliable service over decades
We have had a very good working relationship with Liebherr for 30 years. We can always rely on the service provided by Liebherr. We now have 110 cranes, including crawler cranes and mobile construction cranes. 90% of them are from Liebherr.

Standard crane fleet reduces maintenance costs
We like the standard crane control system in small and large cranes alike. That enables us to use our operating personnel flexibly when we are short-handed.
Our all-Liebherr fleet enables us to benefit from synergies by bundling our costs for maintenance and repair work within the crane fleet. That significantly reduces both costs and downtimes.
