Liebherr at IFAT 2024 in Munich

Liebherr will be present at IFAT 2024, the world's leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management, which will take place in Munich from 13 to 17 May 2024, with a stand measuring around 280 m². In Hall C5, Stand 151/250, Liebherr will be exhibiting machines specially designed for use in waste management and recycling. The new LH 40 M Port Elektro electric material handling machine will be celebrating its trade fair premiere in Germany, as well as the new GMM 35-5 multi-tine grapple. With the L 507 E and the L 566 XPower, Liebherr will be showing two representatives from its wheel loader portfolio. The Liebherr T 60-9s, T 41-7s and T 33-10s telescopic handlers will also be part of the exhibition appearance. The World’s Biggest Beach Race: Boulard TP banks on Liebherr Crawler Dozers

Once again, this year France was home to the biggest motorcycle beach race in the world - Enduropale du Touquet Pas-de-Calais. The event has been drawing motorsport enthusiasts together, from all over the world, for over 30 years, and it stands out as a challenge of endurance under extreme conditions. No less of a challenge is creating and maintaining the track; a task the BOULARD TP company (Beaurainville Pas-de-Calais) excels at. New state-of-the-art paint shop for Liebherr-Werk Bischofshofen

Liebherr’s wheel loader plant in Bischofshofen, Austria, has recently broken ground on an exciting project, a new paint shop, which will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology and utilise sustainable energy sources. It will expand the capacities of the existing plant and meet the latest technological standards. The new production hall will cover an area of around 6,000 m² and will be spread over three levels, enabling optimum utilisation of the available plant space. With the new paint shop, Liebherr is endeavouring to make production more efficient, reduce energy consumption and create attractive jobs. Completion is planned for the second half of 2025. Liebherr’s R 924 G8 crawler excavator presented at the Intermat show

Liebherr will be presenting the R 924 G8 crawler excavator at the Intermat show in Paris from 24 to 27 April 2024. Powerful and versatile, the 24 tonne machine effectively combines high productivity, flexible operation and precision. The R 924 G8 presented at Intermat is equipped with a Leica Geosystems semi-automatic machine control system factory-fitted in Colmar (France), along with the following new options: a Skyview 360° camera and a urea filling pump. Strong performers: Liebherr presents new mid-sized wheel loader series

Liebherr has redeveloped and fundamentally revised its range of mid-sized wheel loaders. The newly-designed lift arm ensures maximum breakout, holding and lowering forces. It has optimised z-bar kinematics and improved working hydraulics. Increases in engine power and tipping loads prepare the wheel loaders for demanding operations in various sectors, such as excavation, recycling or log handling. The new development of the mid-sized wheel loader series from Liebherr is also characterised by a powerful design and intelligent assistance systems. These include, for example, active personnel detection with brake assistant or the fully automatic LIKUFIX quick-coupler system. Find out more

On an icy mission: HS 8200

Around 250 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle, Liebherr is part of the largest construction project in Greenland's history. Munk Civil Engineering is carrying out dredging work for two airport projects with the HS 8200 duty cycle crawler crane. The Arctic conditions and logistics pose a particular challenge. With the Used Equipment Marketplace, Liebherr is launching a new portal specifically for the sale of used machines. On this digital platform, customers can find a wide range of used construction and material handling machines, used attachments and accessories as well as used spare parts – directly from certified Liebherr sales and service partners. The Used Equipment Marketplace is available both as a website application in the new Liebherr design with many different features and as an app for quick, direct access on a smartphone. Liebherr-Werk Bischofshofen invests in new assembly hall for battery-electric wheel loaders

After roughly ten months of construction, Liebherr has commissioned a new assembly hall especially for the manufacture of battery-electric wheel loaders at their plant in Bischofshofen. The group’s first electric wheel loader, the L 507 E, has been rolling off the assembly line here since March 2024. In total, Liebherr has invested over €2.2 million in the new manufacturing facilities. The nearly 1000 m² production area is designed for a maximum yearly output of up to 500 battery-electric wheel loaders. Find out more
