Liebherr-Aerospace Maintains Key Role as Air Management Systems Supplier for the Rafale Multirole Fighter

Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS, Toulouse (France), Liebherr’s center of competence for air management systems was an early partner with Dassault Aviation when development of the Rafale began over 30 years ago.

Supplying the program with over 160 shipsets so far, Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse furnishes air conditioning components for the aircraft, such as pressurization valves, distribution valves and electro fans.

The company has recently increased production to support orders of the aircraft by various Air Forces, with deliveries expected to begin in 2019.
