Going “very high-speed”

Mrs. Zhang, could you briefly describe the improvement that Liebherr Transportation Systems could achieve for the next generation of rail vehicles?
We invest continuously in research and development in order to create high technology products that the local market needs. The whole world is looking at the rapid development of China's high-speed railway industry. Our focus is therefore on developing technology that meets the standards of high-speed trains.
Let me give you an example: Within the frame of the “Smart China Railway” project, we have designed a highly integrated mechatronic air conditioning system that we offer for the new generation high-speed train CR450. The systems weighs more than 25% less and has a higher energy efficiency compared to a conventional high-speed train HVAC system. Its smart system diagnosis could add even more benefits for our customer.
Going “very high-speed” means that we are working on offering our customers and partners technological excellence for efficient high-speed train products, combined with cost effectiveness and seamless product delivery.
