Liebherr Transportation Systems’ joint venture Zhejiang Liebherr Zhongche Transportation Systems Co., Ltd. is doing major steps in order to participate in the upgrade of Metro Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) technology in China. The company equipped a HVAC system with a frequency regulating converter and a variable speed compressor and integrated it in a test train of a local operator in Mainland China. The tests are ongoing and shall prove the reliability of the system and the energy efficiency of the new design.

利勃海尔交通运输系统合资企业浙江利勃海尔中车交通系统有限公司，为了参与中国地铁暖通空调(HVAC)技术升级，正在采取重大举措。该公司为暖通空调系统配备了一个变频调速转换器和一个变速压缩机，并将其集成到中国大陆一家本地运营商的测试列车中。测试正在进行中，将证明系统的可靠性和新设计的能源效率。

The equipment enables additional energy savings by step-less adapting compressor performance to the required cooling performance. Furthermore, it allows heat pump functionality in order to minimize the usage of classical heaters and to save additional energy costs in heating mode.

该设备通过无级调节压缩机性能以满足其所需的冷却性能，从而实现额外的节能。此外，它还允许热泵功能，以便最大限度地减少传统加热器的使用，并在供暖模式下节省额外的能源成本。

With the FAI of the initial test train and the integration of the equipment on the trains running now in service, the basis for future success is set.
