A More Interactive Format for our Regional Technical Workshops 2019

Fruitful discussions about a E-Jet landing gear

Liebherr-Aerospace has once again organized four Regional Technical Workshops (RTW) all around the world in 2019, covering the chapters ATA 21 & 36 (Air Management Systems), ATA 27 (Flight Controls), and ATA 32 (Landing Gear). From May to October, they were covering the following programs:

In Saline, Michigan (USA), the Bombardier CRJ, and the Embraer E-Jets
In Moscow (Russia), the Sukhoi Superjet 100
In Shanghai (P.R. China), the COMAC ARJ21, which by the way was one of the first events of this kind organized by an OEM on this program!

These four workshops gathered about 100 participants in total, including 60 from 23 airlines, along with representatives from Bombardier, COMAC, Embraer, Sukhoi and Liebherr.

A round table session during the CRJ workshop

This year a new format was proposed to the airline participants (mainly from Maintenance, Reliability and Engineering Departments), with general sessions providing a mix between technical training and presentations. Along with the general session, a round table discussion was also offered, providing the possibility to interact with operators, as well as with representatives from aircraft manufacturers and Liebherr-Aerospace. These round table sessions were a privileged moment to share practices and ideas, which was particularly very much appreciated.

We were happy to receive many positive feedbacks from the participants, as well as new ideas for our future workshops.
