Press releases | 06/03/2016 Liebherr-Aerospace Supplies the Integrated Air Management System for Antonov’s AN-132D

Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS, Toulouse (France) will supply the integrated its air management system for Antonov’s new aircraft, the AN-132D. Representatives from Liebherr-Aerospace and the Ukrainian aircraft manufacturer signed the contract on June 1, 2016, at ILA Berlin Airshow.

Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS, Liebherr’s center of excellence for air management systems will design, supply and service the air management system, including the bleed air system, cabin pressure control and anti-ice system, for the first aircraft demonstrator AN-132D. The contract covers the delivery of the systems for four aircraft used for flight tests to Antonov Company’s facility in Kiev (Ukraine).

The AN-132D airplane will be the first prototype of the new AN-132 turboprop light transport aircraft to replace the regional aircraft AN-32 and AN-26. The AN-132 program is realized by Antonov Company in close cooperation with the companies King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) and Taqnia Aeronautics Co., which are based in Riad (KSA).

Liebherr-Aerospace also supplies the cabin pressure control systems for the AN-74 and AN-140, and the integrated air management system for the AN-148, AN-158 and the AN-178 prototype.
