During the international wind energy trade fair "Windpower Conference & Exhibition", to be held from May 23 to 26, 2010 in Dallas, USA, Liebherr presents at booth N° 10450 on an area of about 50 m² a selection of high performance components for wind power systems. Interested visitors will also be shown the range of Liebherr gear tooth milling and shaping machines for producing transmission and gear systems in the wind power sector, as well as the range of cranes for erecting wind power systems.

As a system supplier, Liebherr is the only manufacturer to provide bearings as well as drive units and control technolo-gy from one source. The large diameter bearings and drives exhibited at the show are used in the blade pitch and yaw adjustment of wind turbines.

For decades, earthmoving equipment and cranes from Lieb-herr have been proving their value in the construction of onshore and offshore wind farms. Representative for Liebherr’s crane product range for the windpower industry, a model of the mobile crane LTM 11200-9.1 is exhibited at the Windpower fair.
