The A 918 Litronic, with its high lift capacities, top digging performance, and a powerful engine providing 120 kW / 163 h.p., is the ideal wheeled excavator in the 18-tonne class. Together with the new travel drive concept, excellent travel results are achieved, while at the same time fuel consumption is also substantially reduced. The newly developed cab, with its air cushioned operator's seat, the consoles and joysticks moving in sympathy with the operator’s movements, and the control unit with touchscreen function, all make for a really comfortable work environment for the most efficient performance possible.

All the digging tools, irrespective of whether these are backhoe buckets, swivel buckets or clamshell bucket grabbers have been developed and manufactured by Liebherr.
