The A 914 Compact Litronic short-tail wheeled excavator has a tail swing radius of only 1.75 m / 5’ 9”, yet it still provides the high lift capacities and digging power values which operators are accustomed to; and that makes it the ideal machine for working in confined spaces such as inner-city construction sites. This wheeled excavator, which weighs some 15 tonnes, sets new standards in its class, and not just in fuel efficiency, driving performance, and safety. The newly-developed cab, with its air cushioned operator's seat, the consoles and joysticks moving in sympathy with the operator, and the control unit with touchscreen function, provides the best possible conditions for long working sessions with high productivity.

All the digging tools, irrespective of whether these are backhoe buckets, swivel buckets or clamshell bucket grabbers have been developed and manufactured by Liebherr.
