The electronic sub-assemblies are manufactured with fully and semi-automated production facilities and are then mounted and completed. Comprehensive tests are linked to the individual manufacturing steps. They include an automatic optical inspection, an x-ray inspection, and in-circuit tests for printed circuit boards as well as customised functional and sub-assembly tests for the appliances.

With its flexible production facilities, Liebherr-Elektronik GmbH is also able to produce prototypes and small batches on the serial production plants.
