Training programme for tower cranes
Crane-driving school

The training includes the following topics:

  • Practical (2 on bottom-slewing crane and 1 on top-slewing crane) and theoretical training to become a qualified tower crane driver.
Requirement
At least 18 years of age, written and spoken German, physically and mentally suitable for operating tower cranes in accordance with BGV D6 Para. 29 (1) (regulation from employers' liability insurance association). Certificate of preventive occupational health checkup G25 (BGG 904 (from employers' liability insurance association)) "Driving, control and monitoring duties" (no more than three years old).
Objective
  • Qualified tower crane driver.
  • After passing the examination, the participant receives the certificate of proficiency and a certification card and is therefore deemed appropriately trained.

*These courses are only for persons with many years’ practical professional experience as a crane driver.
We must ask all course participants to bring work clothes to the course (overalls, safety boots, protective helmet and work gloves).

Please organise travel and the hotel yourselves.

The examination is jointly run with the examination board of Berufsförderungsgesellschaft Baden Württemberg (Baden Württemberg society for vocational promotion) and the employers' liability insurance association for the construction industry.

You must register 2 weeks at the latest before the course begins.
