The wood grapple is a hydraulic attachment for hydraulic excavators, used for picking up and transporting logs and round wood. It is used mainly in open country or on timber yards. The wood grapple has a large opening width and is specially designed so that large quantities of logs and round wood can be transported, as well as individual tree trunks.
