The LTM 1160-5.1 is the successor model to the successful LTM 1150-5.1. Both the telescopic boom length and the load capacities have been significantly increased. Highly agile and with compact dimensions when erected, the LTM 1160-5.1 sets the standard in the 160 t class. One innovation are the compressed air disc brakes, being used by Liebherr on a mobile crane for the first time. They offer an enhanced braking performance and result in optimised directional stability of the vehicle.
