The 70 t fire-brigade crane category comprises the Liebherr all-terrain mobile crane type LTM 1070-4.1. With its "all-in- concept", the 4-axle crane at a total weight of 48 t fully equipped, is able to carry along 10 t counterweight. The LTM 1070-4.1 in fire-brigade version is equipped with the special fire-fighting equipment, which has clearly demonstrated its efficiency during recovery and haulage operations. A recovery capstan winch with a line pull of 80 kN or 200 kN with electric remote control can be fitted to the rear of the carrier. A tow-away device of 8 t capacity for the suspension and towing of still rolling broken down vehicles is available. And with the radio-controlled water monitor with a nozzle height of 54 m, up to 5000 litres of water per minute can be delivered.
