The three-axle compact crane LTC 1055-3.1 is available for delivery from the middle of 2004. It has been designed specifically for applications requiring particular manoeuvrability and compactness. LTC stands for "Liebherr-Telescopic-Compact", indicating the special compactness of the new crane design. A hydrostatic travel drive, the tightest of turning radii, active rear axle steering and shunting mode and the 7-section, 36 m compact boom distinguish the 55 tonner as the ideal lifting gear for crane assembly within restricted industrial buildings.
