Liebherr-Aerospace is a major supplier for the Bombardier* CSeries* aircraft programme, designing, supplying and supporting air management and landing gear systems.

The integrated air management system made by Liebherr includes the following systems and components:

• Engine bleed air
• Pneumatic air distribution
• Air conditioning
• Zone temperature control
• Ventilation / extraction, including the avionics bay and luggage compartment
• Cabin pressure control
• Wing anti-ice system control
• Overheat detection

The landing gear activities for the CSeries aircraft include:

• Main landing gear
• Nose landing gear
• Extension retraction system including control lever
• Nose wheel steering system
• Position and warning system

During the CSeries aircraft’s final assembly phase, Liebherr-Aerospace is responsible for the complete dressing of the landing gear legs before delivery to the aircraft assembly station. Accordingly, Liebherr will be expanding its facilities in Laval, near Québec, Canada, to accommodate the assembly and testing of the landing gear systems.
